Candi Sumberawan
Candi Sumberawan terletak di Desa Toyomarto, kecamatan Singosari. Candi ini mungkin tidak berbentuk selayaknya candi pada umumnya, candi Sumberawan hanya berbentuk seperti stupa dan merupakan candi Budha dan peninggalan dari kerajaan Singhasari.
Candi Sumberawan merupakan peninggalan sejarah yang berasal dari sekitar abad 14 atau awal abad 15.
Dalam prasasti Negarakertagama disebutkan bahwa, Candi Sumberawan diidentifikasikan sebagai Kasurangganan atau Taman Surga Nimfa dan telah dikunjungi oleh Raja Hayam Wuruk dari Majapahit di 1359.
Candi Sumberawan pertama kali ditemukan pada tahun 1904 dan pada 1937 diadakan pemugaran oleh pemerintahan Hindia Belanda pada bagian kaki candi. Candi sumberawan merupakan satu-satunya candi yang berbentuk stupa di Jawa Timur.
Candi Sumberawan tidak memiliki tangga naik ruangan di dalamnya yang biasanya digunakan untuk menyimpan benda suci. Jadi, hanya bentuk luarnya saja yang berupa stupa, tetapi fungsinya tidak seperti lazimnya stupa yang sesungguhnya. Diperkirakan candi ini dahulu memang didirikannya untuk pemujaan. Suasana yang teduh dan tenang di sekitar candi menjadikan tempat ini cocok untuk melakukan meditasi.
